Marilyn A. Hobart

86, Centennial, Colorado passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at Garden Terrace Alzheimer’s Center in Aurora Colorado. She was born on June 9, 1934 in Superior, WI.
Marilyn was born in Superior, Wisconsin and relocated to Denver, Colorado soon after graduating from Central High School. Marilyn attended Bethel Lutheran Church in South Superior, Wisconsin and became a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Littleton once moving to Colorado. Marilyn participated in many committees in her church frequently volunteering.
Marilyn retired in 2005 from the Silversmith Insurance Agency and then continued to work part-time for other agencies until 2010.
Marilyn’s favorite hobbies were traveling, gardening and playing cards with her friends. Marilyn was able to travel frequently visiting many countries and most of the United States with her friends and family. Marilyn loved the Colorado mountains and over the years graciously entertained many visits from her family, sharing her favorite places with them. She also enjoyed her daily walks, hiking, biking and cross-country skiing.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Charles; parents John and Palma Krisak; sister Joan Nikstad; brother Gary Krisak. Surviving are her brothers, Roger (Kathy) Krisak, Superior, Wisconsin and Jack (Jane) Krisak, Englewood, Florida; sister-in-law Kitty Krisak, Superior, Wisconsin along with many nieces and nephews.
Marilyn will be interned, alongside her husband Charles, in the Littleton Cemetery on July 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM, the Rev. Carrie Bayliss to officiate. If desired, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association in her name.
