Linda (Hesselgrave) Lowrey

Linda (Hesselgrave) Lowrey, 71, of Dallas, GA passed away June 8, 2019 at her home. She was born to the late Howard & Viola Hesselgrave on October 24, 1947 in Superior, WI. She graduated from Superior Central High School and worked as a secretary for various companies in WI, IN and GA. After moving to GA in 1980, she retired in the early 90's.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Jim) Boucher, two grandchildren, Christian & Amanda of Acworth, GA. Her brother Bill, Duluth, MN and brother Dan (Linda), Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her brother, Howard and sister, Dorothy. She has a host of nieces, nephews and cousins scattered throughout several States. Linda had a host of friends in her community whom she spent a lot of time sharing activities, laughter and support.

Linda enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1989 she was passionate about helping to find a cure. She partnered with the MS Society and the MS Center of Atlanta for research and education. In her later years she focused her life on being the best "grammy" to Christian & Amanda. Linda's humor and perseverance helped her remain independent, active and mobile in order to live her life to the fullest. Linda was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind a legacy.

There will be two celebrations of life for Linda. On Monday, June 24, 2019 at 11:00am, the family will welcome you to Bayside Baptist Church, 3915 N 16th St., Superior, WI 54880. The final celebration of life will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 176 W. Sandtown Rd SW, Marietta, GA 30064.

It was Linda's specific request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Atlanta, 5200 Downwood Circle, Atlanta, GA 30327
