Lawrence Wayne Bourdeau

Lawrence “Larry” Wayne Bourdeau, age 82 of San Antonio, passed away with his family by his side on December 21, 2020, after a short illness. He was born September 22, 1938 in Duluth, Minnesota to Lawrence Louis Bourdeau and Mary Madeline Schultz Bourdeau.
Larry grew up in Superior, Wisconsin and graduated from Superior Central High School in 1957. He joined the Army right after high school and served at Ft. Sam Houston. Larry worked for Jordan Ford for a short period, then served thirty-five years as a civil service employee at Kelly Air Force Base as an inventory management specialist and engine manager, retiring in 2000.
He loved his sons and grandchildren so much and with great pride, encouraged and attended as many of their sports and school events as possible. Larry was a very kind and loving man, who loved meeting and speaking to everyone he met. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Keller Saulter Bourdeau of San Antonio; sons, Steve Bourdeau, Gary Bourdeau; stepsons, Timothy Saulter (Michelle) and Kevin Saulter (Krista); seven grandchildren, Savannah Li Bourdeau, Logan, Kierstan, Madison, Kyle, Kason and McKean Saulter; great-granddaughter, Lanie Saulter-Sherrard; brother, Robert Bourdeau; sisters, Janet Podgorak, Lois Williams (Bill), Carol Cornelius; sisters-in-law, Beverly Keller and Bonnie Keller; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Louis and Madeline Bourdeau; sister-in-law, Joyce Bourdeau; brothers- in-law, Paul Podgorak, Stanley “Pud” Keller and Gerald “Gerry” Keller.
Public Visitation will be Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 3 pm to 5 pm with a Rosary and Funeral Service at 5 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
