Kathryn Margaret (Kammers) Johnson

Kathryn Margaret (Kammers) Johnson, 67, passed away January 7th, 2021 after a brief battle with Covid-19. She left this world with a smirk on her face, surrounded by her family.
Kathy was born to Eugene and Ellen Johnson on December 23rd, 1953. She attended Superior Senior High School where she graduated in 1972. She attended Wisconsin Indianhead Technical Institute and graduated with a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1974. Also in 1974 she wed Robert Kammers, they welcomed their first child, Matthew in 1976, and their second child, Steven in 1978.
Kathy was well known for her generous, kind spirit, she felt it was her responsibility to help those in need. She believed her actions created the world around her. She was stubborn, funny, loving, and had enormous amount of integrity. She believed strongly in her faith and never wavered when times were difficult in her life. Kathy’s greatest joy came from time with family, chit-chatting over coffee with a house full of kids running around, whether it was her boys, her nieces and nephews or her grandkids. It was the simple things that made everything worth it.
Kathryn will be met in death by her parents; Eugene and Ellen, her sister Suzie, her nephew Erik, her ex-husband Robert, and her many friends and relatives. She is survived by her sisters; Sharon and Mary, her brother Mike, her sons; Matthew (Flavia) and Steven, her nieces and nephews; Kyle, Brett, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Angeline, her grandchildren; Kaylen, Jasmin, Isabel, Giuliana, and Brody. The family will be spreading her ashes per their wishes. “Follow your heart and you’ll never go wrong”
