Kathleen M Mikelson Sharaf

Kathleen passed away on July 8, 2019, in Duluth Minnesota. She was born September 16, 1948 in Superior, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Willard “Mike”  and Betty Mikelson, Superior natives. Kathleen graduated from Sacramento State University in California with degrees in Nursing specializing in pediatrics and a Master’s in International Studies. She spent most of her career within the Kaiser Health Care system in Sacramento California. She was lovingly involved and an important influence in the lives of her five nieces and nephews. She traveled all over the world and was active in the dramatic arts. She is survived by her brother Bill Mikelson (JoAnn) of Washington, Utah, her sister Janis Latona (Lee) of Rancho Cordova California, as well as nieces Kristi Scott of Rancho Cordova, California, Amanda Mikelson of Salt Lake City, Utah and nephews Richard Morales of San Diego, California, Billy Mikelson of Los Angeles, California and Michael Morales of Sacramento, California. She also left behind four great nephews Jordan, Daniel, Peyton, Nathaniel and many caring cousins and family. She will be missed by all that knew her and were recipients of her caring and loving nature. There will be no services at this time.
