Joan S Nikstad, 85, Littleton Colorado passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Lifecare Center of Littleton. She was born on July 22, 1933 in Superior, WI and was a lifelong resident of Superior. Joan retired in 1983 from the East End Clinic and other medical offices. She was a long time member of Bethel Lutheran Church in South Superior and a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church Women's Auxiliary. Joan volunteered on the elections board and the coffee nook at Superior Memorial Hospital for many years. Joan's favorite pastime was playing cards with her family and friends.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Paul; parents John and Palma Krisak; brother Gary Krisak. Surviving are her daughter, Kimberley Nikstad, Littleton, CO; son Timothy (Bobbie) of Englewood FL: grandchildren Paul Nikstad, Little Elm, TX and Jamie Nikstad, Ayer, MA; sister Marilyn Hobart, Littleton, CO; brothers Roger (Kathy) Krisak, Superior, WI and Jack (Jane) Krisak, Englewood, FL; sisters-in-law Carole Strohman, Mesa, AZ and Kitty Krisak, Superior WI along with many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service at Bethel Lutheran Church to be scheduled at a future date.
