Jesse H. “Jess” Tye

Jesse H. Tye, 81, of Solon Springs, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, MN. He was born October 17, 1939 in Solon Springs, WI to Howard and Thelma (Shaver) Tye.

Jesse graduated from Superior, WI. He had worked various jobs over the years, mostly mechanic and bodywork on automobiles and welding. He married Cynthia Fox on July 1, 1985 and they had recently celebrated 35 years of marriage.

Jesse will be forever known mostly for his selflessness and caring for others. His great sense of humor, and great knack for writing. He was a car enthusiast, and had a great love of country music especially Johnny Cash. Jesse had a great love of animals and was adored by anyone whom he met. He had developed several great friendships over the years. His greatest love was for his family whom he couldn’t have loved more. His smile could bring a sunshine to a room and he will truly be missed by everyone. “Until we meet again.”

He was preceded in death by his parents Howard Tye and Thelma Bosshardt, Brothers Arthur and Benjamin Tye, and a sister Lulu Belle Bauershmidt, a granddaughter Falecia and great grandson Parker.

Jesse is survived by his wife Cindy Tye, daughters Tonia Tye, Dorraine (Tommy) Wasserman, Lisa (Phill) Pagorek, Chantal (James) Kilgore, and step children Paula Gates, Paul “tony” (Bridget) Pfannes, Jamie Pfannes and Stan fox. Grandchildren Jesse, Breanna, Danielle, Jamie, Keith, Natasha, Kendra, Andrew, Joseph, Brandon, Angel, Justin, Shailee, Tilly, and many great grandchildren.

Due to the pandemic no public services will be held.
