Donald J. “Don” Martin

Donald J. “Don” Martin, 52, lifelong area resident, took his steps to His Eternal Kingdom on Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 at his home in Hawthorne, WI.

Don was born in Superior, on June 7th, 1967, the son of Donald J. Martin and Ida Gehrke. Don attended Superior Senior High School and worked as a laborer with the Laborers Union for many years.

Don is survived by his wife, Katrina Martin, Superior WI; children Andrew Ohlinger, Superior WI, Ashley (Adam Radosevich) Martin, Superior WI, Jennifer Martin, Superior WI, Donald J. Martin III, Superior, WI, and Parker Myers, Superior, WI; Grandchildren, Isaiah Ohlinger, Kamden Martin, and Scarlett Radosevich; Siblings, Michelle Robbins, Grand Island, NE, Windy Fry, Osceola, Wi, Lori Hayes, Superior, WI, Joseph Boxx, Superior, WI; and several Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Don was blessed with a large and loving family. Don was a devoted father and adored his grandchildren. In his lifetime he enjoyed being outdoors, coaching, cooking, and serving his community. He was a spiritual man and involved in many Church and volunteering activities. Don was known for his sense of humor and had a way of making anyone in the room feel extremely loved and cared for.

His contagious smile and laugh, and witty self will be forever missed by his loved ones who will now celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.

A time of remembrance and celebration of Don’s Life is being planned for a later date.
