Denny M Roholt

Denny M Roholt, 95, of Sun City, AZ passed away on April 10, 2021.

Denny was a man of varied talents with a knack for telling stories and jokes and making people smile. 

He graduated from Roosevelt HS in Minneapolis, MN in 1944 and served as a Navy medical corpsman during WWII and the Korean Conflict in both the US and Philippines.

Denny retired from Amsoil, Inc. as Director of Research and Development in 1989. He owned the Tiger’s Den and Marine Bar & Grill. Denny moved to Sun City, AZ in the fall of 1994 with his wife, Florence. 

Among his greatest accomplishments was the celebration of 70 years of marriage on September 22, 2020. Denny and Florence met when they were 13 and knew their love was “meant to be”.

Denny was a 32º Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, a Shriner at Aad & Zuhrah Temples. He was P.E.R. of Elks Lodge #403 in Superior, WI.  In 2018 he was honored by Sun City Masonic Lodge #72 for 65 years of service.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Margurithe Roholt, and niece Linda Alford. He is survived by his beloved wife Florence, daughter Cindy Roholt & daughter-in-law Mary Lee Clarens, grandson Joshua French, sister Frances Mueffelmann, in-laws Richard & Carolynne Moreus and Carol & Bill Lahti, nieces & nephews Sandra, Douglas, Robert, Angela, David, Michelle, Sara, & Stephen, their families, and his loyal little dog, Cody. Denny was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by everyone.

A military commitment ceremony will take place at Fort Snelling in Minneapolis, Minnesota at a later date.
