Brian Androski

Brian Androski, 65, of Iron River, formerly of Superior, died Monday September 21, 2020, at his home with his wife and son by his side.
He was born in Superior on March 24, 1955, the son of James and Gladys (Anderson) Androski. In November 1973 he met Leana Basley, who would later become is wife in March 1980. Brian graduated from Superior Senior High School in 1974 and continued on with his education at Indianhead Technical College. Brian was in real estate for many years and was a former Ironworker. He volunteered for the American Heart Association throughout the years.
Brian was happiest with family and friends at the lake, whether it be swimming, snorkeling or driving around in the boat. He loved riding his motorcycle and traveling. He was always tackling a project and enjoyed passing on his knowledge, from cars to construction. Brian always had a story to tell, or a friendly bit of advice, whether you needed it or not.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian ‘Cheetah’ Androski; siblings, James ‘Jim’, Robert ‘Bobby’ and Debra Hillyer.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Leana ‘Pete’ Androski (Basley); son, Dustin ‘Dusty’ (Kendra) Androski; daughter-in-law, Jennifer ‘Jen’ Androski; grandchildren, Claire, Lucas, Elisa Androski and Austin and Blake Arnovich; siblings, Janet Gozanski, Bruce, Brad (Loree) Androski and Mary (Gary) Peterson; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 28th from 11:00 a.m. until the Noon Funeral Service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19th St. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
