Kurt Thomas Larson

Kurt Thomas Larson, 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 26th 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 9th 1958 in Superior Wisconsin. Born and raised in Superior, he developed an early passion for car racing and automobile reconstruction. That passion brought him to have a successful racing career in Superior and the surrounding cities for over 30 years.

Those that were lucky enough to know and love Kurt knew that his loyalty, friendship, and caring was endless even if you were a stranger in the middle of a grocery store. Known for his humor and compassion, Kurt felt that if he made one person smile in a day, he had done his job. Kurt and the love of his life, Paula, treasured every moment they had with family and took immense pride in their grandson, Tyler. Family was more important to him than anything else, and he cherished all the time he got to spend with brothers and sisters, his son and wife, his numerous nephews and nieces and even grand-nephews and nieces. Always one to help anyone in need, his friends and family could always count on Kurt to drop everything to be there for a conversation and a laugh.
