Eugene P. Davidson

Born in the town of Lakeside, WI on September 4, 1932 to Lena Riihimaaki Davidson & William Davidson. He is preceded in death by sisters, Helen Marie, Alice Elizabeth, Joanne and brother, Robert William. He is survived by his wife, Agnes, daughter, Jean Marie & grandson, Jacob Adams; niece, Eileen (Lena) Davidson; nephews, Douglas Welter, Joel Welter & Jim Erickson. Gene enlisted in the Navy during the Korean War and attended Electronic Tech School followed by being stationed on Adak Island and then Bremerhaven Germany. Following discharge, he, with the help of his father, rebuilt the Davidson Windmill. He was employed by National Temperature Control Centers and several other Duluth firms as well as his own company. Gene was a member of the Old-Brule Heritage Society, the US Naval Cryptologic Veterans Association and also at St. Vincent's church in Maple Grove. A Memorial service will be held at Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Chapel (13745 Reimer Dr., Maple Grove, MN 55311) on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 11 AM. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
