Second annual hockey camp planned

The second annual Twin Ports Pro Development Hockey Camp will take place July 10-14 at the Superior Ice Arena.

Online registration opened March 10.

The camp is for PeeWee/12U, Bantam/14U and high school aged boys and girls.

Camp fees are $400 for PeeWees and bantams and $425 for high school kids.

The camp directors are Brett Olson and Mike Sislo, both professional hockey players and former Superior Spartans.

Olson is in his fifth year of professional hockey and is currently playing for the EC Red Bull Salzburg EBEL team in Salzburg, Austria.

Sislo has been playing hockey professionally for six years and is currently playing for the Toronto Marlies of the AHL.

Other camp instructors include former Minnesota Duluth Bulldog Adam Krause (Hermantown) and Rob Bordson (Duluth); and Troy Grosenick (Brookfield, Wis.), who currently plays for the San Jose Sharks’ affiliate Worcester Sharks of the AHL.

Duluth’s Bronwynn Pichetti is the power skating coach, and Blake Palmer is the strength and conditioning coach.
