The University of Wisconsin System has launched its COVID-19 dashboard , which provides a daily summary of the testing done on each campus.

The public data is not comprehensive of the COVID-19 situation on each campus as it only reflects the number of positive cases and results received from on-campus testing. The data does not include any positive cases among employees nor any information from testing done off-campus.

As of 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, UW-Superior had received 120 tests results. Only one student was diagnosed with COVID-19.

UW-Superior started testing students living on campus this week, said Jordan Milan, director of strategic communications and special assistant to the chancellor. As part of the system's plan, UW campuses will use antigen tests to screen residential students every two weeks. Students whose antigen tests come back positive will then be administered a nasal swab test.

"Residential students are required to schedule their testing appointment, so these tests are being done throughout the week," Milan said.

The dashboard, found at wisconsin.edu/coronavirus-dashboard , will be updated every day with information received by 4:30 p.m. the previous day. The test result numbers include both antigen and nasal swab tests.

As of late August, more than 500 students were planning to live in UW-Superior's on-campus housing. Students moved into the dorms the last weekend of August.

A little over half of all classes at UW-Superior will be offered an in-person component.

The University of Minnesota Duluth is the only other higher education institution in the Twin Ports with a live COVID-19 dashboard on testing information .
