All 10 counties in Northwestern Wisconsin reported new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, Oct. 11, according to DHS .

The new cases were reported as follows: seven in Rusk County; six each in Ashland, Douglas and Taylor counties; four in Burnett County; three each in Bayfield and Sawyer counties; and two each in Iron, Price and Washburn counties.

They were among 2,676 new cases in the state reported Sunday, pushing the total to 150,236. The 7-day percentage for positive tests was 18.6%.

Seven additional people died from the virus, bringing the total number of deaths in the state to 1,465. Overall, 1% of people who contracted the virus in Wisconsin have died, DHS data shows.

The number of negative tests in the state was 1,537,877, an increase of 7,571 from the day before.

An additional 79 people were hospitalized because of the virus Sunday. There are currently 870 Wisconsinites hospitalized because of the virus. Overall, about 6% of Wisconsinites who contracted the virus have been hospitalized.

Sunday's report also showed that 80% of the people who have tested positive for the virus have recovered. That means 19% cases, or 28,988 cases, are currently active.
