Charter Films Inc., was named an outstanding employer by the Northwest Wisconsin Workforce Investment Board.
The aware was given to employers in recognition for their dedication to workforce development during the investment board's annual business conference in Cable last week.
Charter Films, founded in 1998, manufactures plastic films used in a variety of products worldwide. Since it's start the business has grown 400 percent and currently employs 105 full-time and three part-time employees in its Superior plant on Winter Street. The company is undergoing a 30,000-square-foot expansion.
