The Western Lake Superior Sanitary District launched a new Web site featuring a modern, easy-to-use design to help residents and businesses find information about recycling, composting, pollution prevention and other WLSSD programs.

The new site at www.wlssd.com was created to provide site users a quick reference to WLSSD's facility information as well as more in-depth information on programs such as the food waste drop sites and electronics disposal.

"Residents can now access more information about WLSSD programs 24 hours a day," Karen L. Anderson, director of community relations, said in a prepared statement. "We've organized the site so that users can easily and readily find the information they need. Moreover, we've added lots of new content and a search feature so that residents can access the information with ease."
