GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Jake Dowell and Ross Carlson scored two goals each as Wisconsin rallied in the third period to defeat North Dakota 4-2 Saturday for a sweep of their Western Collegiate Hockey Association weekend series.
The Badgers rebounded from a 2-1 deficit with three goals in the last five minutes.
It started when Dowell pounced on a rebound of his own shot at the edge of the crease to get the equalizer. Then, 1:34 later, Carlson gave the Badgers their first lead.
Skating down the left wing, Andrew Joudrey took a slapshot that UND goalie Philippe Lamoureux kicked away. But it went directly to Carlson, who didn't have to break stride to one-time the puck into the top shelf.
Carlson added his second goal from the red line into an open net with 1:31 left.

UND took a 2-1 lead late in the second period behind some good fortune. Just as a power play was expiring, Jonathan Toews blindly shot the puck down the ice. The puck came to teammate Robbie Bina just as he was exiting the penalty box.
The junior defenseman put a shot in the corner, just under the crossbar, for his second goal of the season.
The teams traded power-play goals in the first period. Brad Miller gave the Sioux a 1-0 lead with a shot from the left circle that went through Wisconsin goalie Brian Elliotts legs. Dowell replied with his team-leading 10th goal of the year with a shot from the slot area past a screened Lamoureux.
Elliott made 29 saves for Wisconsin (7-9-2, 5-6-1), while Lamoureux had 25 for UND (7-8-1, 5-6-1).
