LUXEMBURG, Wis. (AP) -- Eight Wisconsin students have been disciplined after photos of them drinking were posted on Facebook.
Principal Steve Okoniewski said Friday the Luxemburg-Casco High School students have been found in violation of the school's code of conduct.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette says five students were athletes, and will miss half an athletic season. Others will be required to perform community service.
School officials say legal action is also possible.
Okoniewski says the photos came to officials' attention after an individual brought them forward.

He says some students may feel that officials are violating their privacy by punishing them based on Facebook photos. But he says students need to understand nothing in social networking is truly private.
