MADISON (AP) -- Blake Geoffrion had a goal and three assists to lead Wisconsin to a 4-3 Western Collegiate Hockey Association win over Minnesota State, Mankato on Friday.
Geoffrion had one of the Badgers' three power-play goals. Wisconsin (17-7-4, 12-6-3) was 3-for-12 on the power play, while the Mavericks (12-15-2, 6-14-1) went 0-for-5.
Michael Davies had two power-play goals and Aaron Bendickson scored shorthanded at 11:33 of the third period for a 4-1 Wisconsin lead.
The Mavericks rallied behind Zach Harrison's shorthanded goal at 15:48 and Kael Mouillierat's penalty shot at 19:00.
Scott Gudmundson had 21 saves for the Badgers, while the Mavericks' Phil Cook stopped 40 shots.
