BISMARCK – A Williston woman who has asked to remain anonymous picked her own numbers when she won a $2 million Powerball prize last weekend, state lottery officials said Wednesday in announcing she had claimed her winnings.
The lucky winner has no immediate plans for the prize winnings as the win has yet to really set in, she told lottery officials. The winner also said she always had a list in her mind of what she would do if she won, but when she found out she was the newest North Dakota millionaire, her mind went blank.
She selected all five white balls correctly with a two times power play.
