FRIDAY, CABLE -- A new hands-on exhibit, Bird's In Focus, opens at the Cable Natural History Museum. The exhibit opening event is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Cable Natural History Museum, located at 43570 Kavanaugh Street in Cable. Drinks and refreshments will be served. JUNE, SUPERIOR -- St. Anthony's Church, 4315 E. Third St., is holding a pancake breakfast, silent auction and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 3. Menu includes pancakes, sausage, juice, milk and coffee. Cost is free, but donations accepted. Open to the public. Proceeds will support the July 13 American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

JUNE, SUPERIOR -- Fairlawn Mansion and Museum, 906 E. Second St., will hold a garden market from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 6. Regional garden centers and local artisans will offer annuals, perennials, garden structures, gifts and accessories for sale. A light lunch, provided by the Fairlawn Gardeners, will be available at the Garden Cafe. Admission is $2, with proceeds going toward the Gardens of Fairlawn project. Rain date June 7.

JUNE, EAU CLAIRE -- The Chippewa Valley Museum opens its summerlong exhibit, "Views of the Chippewa Valley" 7 p.m. June 8 in Carson Park. The exhibit includes historical and contemporary works of the Chippewa Valley's city and rural areas. The exhibit is free. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
