WEDNESDAY, SUPERIOR -- Norrona Lodge 27, Sons of Norway, meets at 7 p.m. at the Superior Senior Center for a memorial service followed by the regular meeting. Pastor Charlie Plaster from Concordia Lutheran Church will conduct the service. Members note: This meeting is one week later, originally scheduled for today.

SUNDAY, BRULE --The annual Memorial Day weekend ham dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Brule Town Hall. Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-12. Children under age 5 are free. The menu includes bake ham, scalloped potatoes, potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, gelatin, bread, pickles, bars and beverages. Proceeds go toward upkeep of the Waino Everrest Cemetery.

SEMINARS
SATURDAY, SUPERIOR -- Pederson's Gardens and Landscapes is hosting spring seminars and workshops for the public. Seminars are free; workshops require a materials cost. The fourth event will be a day of seminars, with pre-registration to be made by Friday. The seminars are at 9:30 a.m. (fertile ground), 10 a.m. (for the love of rocks), 10:30 a.m. (the beauty of ornamental grasses), 11 a.m. (The blue garden) and 12:30 p.m. (bog plants). ENTERTAINMENT
FRIDAY, DULUTH -- The latest exhibit from the Great Lakes Aquarium spotlights the seahorse. The exhibit opens to the public Friday at 10 a.m. It will include a short movie, several interactive exhibits and nearly a dozen different species of this unique fish family, which range in size from less than one inch to nearly a foot long. The exhibit will also feature pipefish and weedy sea dragons, close seahorse relatives.
