TUESDAY, DULUTH -- The next concert in the summer series hosted by the Superior Singers, under the direction of Brian G. MacDonell, will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Barker's Island Pavilion, Superior (bring your lawn chair). The concert is free and open to the public. The singers will be performing concerts entitled "Lost in the 50's."

JULY 12, DULUTH -- Columbia, S.C. band Crossfade will perform at Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center's Pioneer Hall 9 p.m. July 12. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets for the all ages show may be purchased at the DECC box office and all Ticketmaster outlets, charging by phone (218) 727-2121 or online at www.ticketmaster.com .

SWIM LESSONS

JULY 9-18, LAKE NEBAGAMON -- Kids In Nebagamon, the Lake Nebagamon Lions Club and the Nebagamon Lake Association are sponsoring the annual children's swimming lessons at the beach July 9-18. Pre-registration is required and may be arranged by calling Jody Karich, (715) 374-3346.

ART PROGRAMS

WEDNESDAY, SUPERIOR -- Amy Mack will demonstrate how to make construction paper molas from 2 to 3 p.m. on the large meeting room of the Superior Public Library. (The mola is a traditional textile art form made by the Kuna people of Panama and Columbia. Molas are cloth panels made to wear on clothing). Children will create their own mola.
