SATURDAY, DULUTH -- First United Methodist Church (the Coppertop Church), holds a rummage sale and marketplace at the church located at 230 E. Skyline Parkway from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to the rummage sale in Lakeview Social Hall of the church, local vendors will sell their wares at booths in the east parking lot.

SATURDAY, LAKE NEBAGAMON -- Local artists Becky Lokken, Maureen McGrath and Patty Davies will be performing glass blowing demonstrations from 2 to 7 p.m. at Lawn Beach Inn, 11590 E. Waterfront Drive, Lake Nebagamon.
SUMMER HOURS, SUPERIOR -- Summer hours are in effect at Fairlawn Mansion, 906 E. Second St., May 19-Dec. 30. Guided tours are available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. Tours start in the gift shop on the hour until 3 p.m. Admission is charged. DEPOT EVENTS, SUPERIOR -- The Winter Street Depot in Superior is looking for artists to display and sell their items at the depot. There is limited space. The depot's third annual July 4th Art Extravaganza is now taking applications from artists, crafters, food vendors, street entertainers, musicians, etc. The second annual Fourth of July sidewalk chalk art competition is planned on July 4. There is a $2 charge to enter the competition and all proceeds go to the Salvation Army. To register for the upcoming events, call 395-2579, (ask for Cris), or stop in at the depot located at 1615 Winter St. The Depot staff reminds the public they collect food donations year-round which in turn is given the Salvation Army.
SATURDAY, TWO HARBORS -- The Twin Ports Mustang and Ford Club holds its seventh annual Ford-powered car show during the day on Saturday, rain or shine, in the parking lot of Two Harbors Ford, Mercury and Polaris on Scenic Highway 61. There are trophies in 20 plus categories. MADD will be providing hot dogs and pop for a small donation. For more information, call the club president, John, at 626-1413.
