4-H DAY CAMP
THURSDAY, SOLON SPRINGS -- All 4-H members in grades K-3 are invited to attend day camp at Lucius Woods County Park in Solon Springs. The free camp runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Douglas County 4-H provides activities, lunch and supervision. Activities include games, hiking, craft projects and swimming if it's warm. WEDNESDAY, SUPERIOR -- Free live music is presented weekly at Bayside Sound concerts in the city. The first concert starts at 7 p.m. in Billings Park and features the Randy Lee Jazz Orchestra performing big band, swing and variety music.

JUNE 19, DULUTH --The Swedish Cultural Society of Duluth sponsors its annual midsummer celebration at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 45th Avenue East and Colorado Street. Festivities begin at 12:30 p.m. The program follows at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary with Swedish singer and folk dance teacher Maria Rojas accompanied by her husband Perjos Lars Halvarsson on the fiddle.
