THURSDAY, DULUTH -- Grand Portage National Monument Park Ranger and master fur trade birch bark canoe builder, Erik Simula will present "Historic Birch Bark Canoe Voyages on Lake Superior" at 6:30 p.m. at Great Lakes Aquarium. This is the final presentation of the 2006-2007 "Voices of the Lake" speaker series. The general public is charged a nominal fee; GLA members are free. RUMMAGE SALE

APRIL 27, DULUTH -- Primrose Retirement Community located at 724 Maple Grove Road in Duluth is planning a rummage sale to benefit the Primrose Garden Club from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Primrose will have several 10' x 12' spaces available for community members to rent to sell their items.
