WEDDING: Williams-Clements

Christa Williams of Superior and Christopher Clements of Eau Claire were married April 5 in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Superior. Co-officiants were the Revs. Father Dean Buttrick and Barbara Certa-Werner.

Christa Williams of Superior and Christopher Clements of Eau Claire were married April 5 in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Superior. Co-officiants were the Revs. Father Dean Buttrick and Barbara Certa-Werner.

Christa is the daughter of Gerald and Linda Williams, Superior. Christopher is the son of Kathleen and Weldon Clements of Maple Grove, Minn.

The bride chose her sister, Andrea Williams of Superior, as maid of honor and her brothers, Todd Williams, St. Joseph, Mo. and Jay Williams, Superior, attendants.

The groom chose his brother, Pat Clements, as best man and his sisters, Danielle Peterson and Breanne Buzay-Clements, attendants, all of the Minneapolis area.

Flower girls were Rene Williams, niece of the bride, and McChesney Smith, cousin of the bride. Music was provided by Ruby Thomas, organist and Mike Anderson, vocalist. A reception followed the ceremony in the Great Hall of the Depot, Duluth.

The bride, a 1998 graduate of Superior Senior High School, graduated in 2002 from University of Wisconsin-Stout, with a bachelor's degree in construction and the College of St. Scholastica in 2005 with a master's degree in exercise physiology. She currently is employed at Luther Midelfort Hospital, Eau Claire.

The groom, a 1989 graduate of Osseo (Minn.) High School, served in the United States Marines from 1990-94, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in construction. He is currently a construction project manager with Menard's Inc., Eau Claire.
