Wedding: Johnson-Burns

Nicole Marie Johnson and Todd James Burns were married Sept. 30, 2006, at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church. The Rev. Daniel Dahlberg officiated. An Asian-themed dinner reception and dance was held at Barker's Island Inn.

Nicole is the daughter of Dave and Leslie Johnson, Superior. Todd is the son of Carol and the late Lee Burns, Kronenwetter.

Kim Christophersen, Weston, friend of the couple, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Johnson, Sauk Rapids, Minn., sister of the bride, Jennifer Schwochert, River Falls, friend of the bride, and Shannon Burns, Kronenwetter, sister-in-law of the groom. Personal attendants were cousins of the bride, Toni Raymond, Tammy Fisher and Kelly Carlson, all of Superior.

Tim Burns, Kronenwetter, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Chad Ebben, Merrill, cousin of the groom, Chris Ohrmundt, Wausau, friend of the couple and Craig Voigt, Merrill, friend of the groom. Ushers were Dan Johnson, Superior, uncle of the bride and Kim Ebben, Merrill, cousin of the groom.

Nicole graduated from Superior Senior High School in 1998 and attended St. Norbert College, DePere. She is employed by Regal-Beloit Corp., Wausau, as a finished goods supply chain analyst.

Todd graduated from D.C. Everest High School in 1997. He then attended Northcentral Technical College, graduating with a degree in mechanical design. He is employed as a mechanical designer for Greenheck Fan Corp., Schofield.

The couple resides in Kronenwetter.
