WEDDING: Horstman-Ammerman

Pettibone Resort in La Crosse was the setting for the 5 p.m. ceremony Sept. 8 uniting in marriage Monica Horstman and Nicholas Ammerman. A reception followed there.

Parents of the couple are Arnold and Loretta Horstman, Poplar, and Randy and Jeanne Ammerman, Holmen, Wis.

Attendants were Sarah Smith, Rochester, Minn., matron of honor, Neal Kolb, Madison, best man, and Josh Estreen, Wausau and Dustin Ammerman, Minnetonka, Minn., ushers. Special readings were done by Amanda Steinke (Lind), Clinton Township, Mich., and Karey Lee (Burgstiner), Savannah, Ga.

Music for the ceremony was performed by the La Crosse Orchestra's String Quartet.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Hayward, Wis., and are now residing in Fargo, N.D.

The bride graduated from Northwestern High School, Maple, in 1998 and earned a bachelor's degree in management and technology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2003. She is employed as a urology and respiratory health care representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Detroit Lakes, Minn.

The groom graduated from Holmen High School in 2001 and earned a bachelor's degree in retail management from UW-Madison in 2006. He is employed as a geotechnician by Navteq in Fargo.
