Cold wind chills will linger across northern Minnesota through noon Thursday with temperatures possibly dropping to 32 degrees below zero, the National Weather Service in Duluth reported. Blizzard warnings have expired.

Lake-effect snow showers will slowly taper off Thursday across most of the South Shore, with the exception of Iron County, where higher elevations could receive an additional 7 inches of snow.
