Thursday: Temperatures will continue to trend on the warmer side today with plenty of sunshine in the forecast. A light southwest breeze around 5 to 10 mph will push temperatures to an afternoon high near 80 degrees with Lake Superior shoreline areas likely staying quite warm as well.

Thursday night: Clouds will begin to increase in the early evening with overcast skies and a few showers and thunderstorms rolling through overnight. Temperatures will remain mild with a low near 60.

Friday: Our Friday morning may start off with a few showers and storms, although at this point it looks like the heaviest rain and the best chance of severe storms may stay south of the Twin Ports area into southern Minnesota and central Wisconsin. Temperatures will stay warm with a high near 79 and a few peeks of sunshine by the afternoon.
