Wednesday: Rain chances become widespread by the evening hours and continue overnight into Thursday with between a quarter-inch and a half-inch in total expected. This round slides east Thursday morning with spotty sprinkles, cloudy skies, and areas of fog lingering near Lake Superior. Highs range from the upper 40s to mid-50s with an east wind developing 5-15 mph.
Thursday: An approaching piece of energy may bring more light showers from the Northwest on Thursday evening. Winds become westerly on Thursday as seasonable conditions finally return to the region with highs in the low to upper 60s.
Looking ahead: The next chance for rain arrives from the south Saturday evening into early Sunday morning. The best chance for this will be south of the Twin Ports and across Northwest Wisconsin.
