Tuesday: A system off to our west will keep cloudy and overcast skies across the region, but the bulk of any showers look to stay over north-central Minnesota. Most of the Northland should stay dry under the cloudy skies with just a shower or two possible for areas of Itasca County in the morning. Temperatures will be cooler again by Lake Superior with an afternoon high near 51 degrees on the Duluth hillside.
Tuesday night: Cloudy skies will eventually begin to decrease and lead to partly cloudy skies overnight with a low temperature near 34.
Wednesday: Sunshine returns to our forecast with a few passing clouds from time to time. A wind shift out of the northwest will help to warm us up a little bit more to an afternoon high near 58.
The dry, sunny, and cooler than average temperatures continue through the end of the week and towards the weekend. This means the fire danger will also remain high due to the lack of any precipitation to help alleviate the fire concerns.
