Your forecast for today: Most of our region will catch a break today from the heavy rainfall and storms that brought areas of east-central Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin anywhere from 3 to 5 inches of rain yesterday. That being said, the cold front that brought the active weather to us will stall out across central and southern Wisconsin and Minnesota and may still bring a few light showers to the southern regions of the Northland. The rest of the area should stay under mostly cloudy skies today with a steady temperature topping out near 53 degrees.
Tonight: Overcast skies will continue this evening and into the overnight hours, but we shouldn’t see any rainfall. Temperatures will be a bit cooler tonight with an overnight low near 39 degrees.
Tomorrow: After a quiet and cloudy start on Wednesday morning, our next weather system arrives by the afternoon with increasing chances for rain showers by the afternoon and evening. Temperatures look to stay on the cool side with an afternoon high of only 49 degrees.
