Your forecast for today: Some areas will deal with patchy fog this morning, but that fog will burn off quickly once the sun comes up. High temperatures will top out around 69 degrees on top of the hill today with plenty of sunshine. It will be cooler along the shoreline of Lake Superior thanks to an east wind gusting up to 15 mph. The strong winds off the lake will also create dangerous rip current conditions for swimmers in Lake Superior.
Tonight: High pressure remains overhead this evening and into tonight, which will give us clear skies and a low near 52 degrees.
Tomorrow: The weekend is looking pretty nice once again across the region with a slight warm-up and a high near 73 degrees on Saturday. We will see plenty of sunshine mixing with a few clouds by the afternoon hours.
The rain chances we have been watching for Sunday look like they will arrive a bit later in the afternoon and evening hours. This is good news for those of you hoping it will stay dry for your outdoor plans. Most of Sunday is looking OK and the bulk of the rain should arrive on Monday.
