Your forecast for today: We are in for a nice cool down today as an east wind off Lake Superior will keep our high temperatures in the 70s. We should top out right around 73 degrees in the Twin Ports, but that east wind will make for dangerous swimming conditions along the shoreline due to the risk of rip currents. Along with the cooler temperatures today will come the threat of more showers and storms, especially this afternoon and into the evening hours. Some storms could become strong with localized flooding a concern as well.
Tonight: The clouds, showers and storms will continue to impact the region early this evening before things gradually taper off overnight. Temperatures will stay on the mild side with a low near 60 degrees.
Tomorrow: We will get a chance to dry out and warm back up quickly on Thursday. Look for partly cloudy skies and an afternoon high near 80 degrees. The 80s looks to hang around into Friday as well, but cooler temperatures into the 70s arrive over the weekend along with a chance of showers by Sunday.
