Authorities are asking for the public's help to identify who dumped three deer carcasses near Cable.

The three deer were found on Namakagon River Road on Dec. 15, according to a Facebook post from the Bayfield County Sheriff's Office.

They had been killed and gutted. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call Wisconsin Conservation Warden Matthew Koshollek through the Wisconsin DNR tipline, 1-800-847-9367 or at 715-209-7184.
