Retailer offers 90-day prescription supply for $10 via free mail delivery
Walmart announced that it will offer a 90-day supply of 300 generic prescriptions, each for $10, via free mail delivery in Wisconsin.
From Kenosha to Ashland to River Falls to Green Bay, Wisconsinites across the state will be able to take advantage of this affordable pharmacy program from Walmart by calling (800) 2REFILL. Additionally, Walmart's free mail delivery program has no gimmicks, no memberships and no enrollment fees.
This announcement signals Walmart's commitment to help customers save money on prescriptions regardless of whether or not they live close to a Walmart pharmacy location.
"When we launched our $4 generic prescription program, it not only changed the pharmacy landscape nationally, but it also had a clear and positive impact on the health of customers in Wisconsin," said Joel Anderson, market manager for Walmart. "Through this program our customers in Wisconsin were finally able to significantly save on the medications they needed."

In addition to approximately 300 generic prescriptions for $10 each, Walmart's mail delivery service provides access to more than 3,000 other affordable brand and generic prescriptions with free mail delivery, making it convenient for Wisconsinites to fill all their prescriptions via one simple and affordable location, especially if they don't live near a Walmart store or Sam's Club pharmacy.
"Americans deserve access to quality, affordable health care and medications, yet some families in Wisconsin today aren't filling prescriptions because of high costs or lack of health insurance," said Dr. John Agwunobi, senior vice president and president of Walmart's health and wellness division. "For the first time, we're able to provide our customers in Wisconsin with more affordable prescription medicines through a convenient mail delivery system."
