UWS women's hockey recruits

University of Wisconsin-Superior women's hockey coach Dan Laughlin announced that five players have verbally committed to join the team for the 2006-07 season.

University of Wisconsin-Superior women's hockey coach Dan Laughlin announced that five players have verbally committed to join the team for the 2006-07 season.

Allie Pullar, a defenseman from Hibbing High School; Chelsey Brodeen, a defenseman from Warroad High School and Kayla Chilstrom, a defenseman from Centennial High School will all join the 'Jackets.

A pair of Canadians will also join the team. Teagan Cassan, a forward who plays for the Westman Wildcats in Manitoba and Lindsey LeGree, a forward who plays for the Toronto Rattlers in Ontario, will also join the team.

"These girls will bring an immediate impact to our lineup and contribute to all aspects of our program to keep it at a championship level," Laughlin said.

Last season the 'Jackets finished 18-6-3 overall and 9-3-3 in the NCHA as they claimed the NCHA regular season title and finished runner-up in the NCHA tournament.
