See the world through the eyes of a Turkish man with the help of the University of Minnesota Duluth's International Film Festival.
The first film in the series, "Takva," airs 7:30 p.m. in UMD's Weber Hall and tells the story of an Islamic man in present day Istanbul. The film depicts the man's transformation when he acquires new duties with the leader of the religious sect he serves selflessly. Soon he falls victim to the group's hidden agenda, creating a collision of faith and materialism.
