Rainy weather played havoc with area softball and baseball games Thursday afternoon.
The Northwestern High School softball team was scheduled to host the Rice Lake Warriors in a WIAA regional finals game Thursday, but that game will now be played at 3 p.m. today.
The Northwestern baseball team was to open WIAA playoff action at Hayward. That game will also now be played at 3 p.m. today.
The Superior High School baseball game at Duluth East was also rained out Thursday and will not be made up.
Superior will wrap up the regular season by hosting the Eau Claire North Huskies in a doubleheader at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Huskies are currently ranked No. 1 in Wisconsin.

Superior will begin WIAA playoff action Tuesday at River Falls.
