Favre will report to Minnesota Vikings training camp in July, Twin Cities' CBS affiliate WCCO-TV's Web site is reporting.
A source told WCCO's Mark Rosen that former Green Bay Packer Favre and the Vikings have come to a contractual agreement with heavy incentives and that the Vikings equipment manager already has ordered No. 4 purple jerseys with his name on it, according to the site.
It's unclear when an official announcement will be made.
