As a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Superior and having taken several classes from Mary Tripp, I am very confident in saying that she is a fabulous representative of the college, the city of Superior, and the state of Wisconsin. She has been my professor, mentor, and friend. So, it is a great honor to write a letter in support of her candidacy.
Through her continued dedication to social issues and creating a sense of community in everything she does, Mary has changed lives for many. She helped me find a greater interest in volunteering and a commitment to organizations that can truly make a difference.
Her passion for communications inspired my work with Junior Achievement in St. Cloud, the Boys and Girls Club of Superior, the Salvation Army of Superior, and the United Way. These volunteering opportunities are all ways that Mary Tripp influenced me to find that fire within myself to help others in wonderful ways and ask for nothing in return. She uses class projects in order to get her students involved in community activities and help local organizations.
Her decision to run for Assembly isn't just to see if she can win. She is running because she truly believes that she can win and make a difference for the state of Wisconsin. Mary is full of energy and motivation. She has shown me that she makes informed decisions and I believe she would make any citizen of the 73rd District proud!
