I would like to enthusiastically encourage people to vote for Mary Tripp for the 73rd Assembly seat.
As the former coordinator for Leadership Superior/Douglas County, I have had many occasions to see Mary in a variety of roles. When I first met her, she worked at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Later, when she worked as community relations manager for St. Mary's of Superior, our paths crossed again when she participated and graduated from the Leadership program.
Since then, I have seen her in a variety of roles -- all of which seem to be focused on making Superior/Douglas County a better place to live and work.
She is actively involved in the community serving on boards of nonprofits as well as volunteering for many good causes. She was and is one of the strong leaders in the Superior Days efforts as well. If that is not enough, she serves as a full-time faculty member at WITC while teaching classes at UWS as well. She has boundless energy!

I knew she was a hard-worker and committed to the people of this region, but I was even further impressed when I checked out her Web page at www.marytripp.com . I was amazed at the diversity of her experiences. She is knowledgeable and experienced in nonprofits, business and government -- a rarity indeed. Voters in Douglas County would be hard-pressed to find anyone who equals her energy, enthusiasm, and "can-do" attitude!
