The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northwest Region will hold a public meeting from 5:30-7:30 p.m. April 29 to discuss safety improvements for the intersection of US 53 and County Highway Y in the town of Gordon.
The meeting will be held at the Gordon Town Hall, 9709 East County Road Y. It will be conducted in an open-house format with a short presentation at 6 p.m.
The project includes resurfacing US 53 northbound from County Road T to the St. Croix River and reconstruction of the intersection of US 53 and County Highway Y in Gordon as a restricted U-turn intersection. Construction is scheduled for 2020.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. There will be a variety of exhibits and maps available for review. Representatives of WisDOT will be on hand to answer questions throughout the evening. Attendees will have the option of making written or verbal comments during the meeting.
