The Northwestern Tigers girls golf team took second at Chetek Monday afternoon.
Spooner won the four-team event with a team score of 189. Northwestern was second at 186 and Chetek had a 202. Bloomer also golfed, but only has three team members.
Katie Pearson and Maggie Lattery carded 44s for the Tigers, Brandi Pearson had a 48 and Taylor Price a 50. Chelsie Karich also had a non-counting 66.
Lattery's and Paulson's rounds were personal low rounds of the season.
Spooner's Nikki Bowen was the medalist at 40.

The Tigers' scores Monday also counted toward Thursday's rainout at Bloomer, giving NHS three team points (one from Chetek, two from Bloomer) in the Heart O' North Conference standings.
The Tigers were back in action this morning at the Superior Invitational at the Nemadji Golf Course.
