Crank up the radio for the next live broadcast of the Rubber Chicken Radio Hour, or better yet, see the broadcast performed live.

The show starts at 7-8 p.m. Aug. 16, at the Proctor Area Community Center, located at 100 Pionk Drive.

The show will be broadcast live on KUWS 91.3 FM, but being in the studio audience to see how it all comes together is the most fun.

"We are charging admission in order to keep building our operational revenues for future projects," said Brian Matuszak, Rubber Chicken founder. "So not only do you get to see the inner workings of a live radio show, but you also help keep Rubber Chicken Theater clucking along."

The show is being done in conjunction with the Proctor Hoghead Festival, so expect plenty of barnyard humor.

Lots of fun will also be had with Secret Service Entertainment's handling of concert start times at Bayfront Festival Park, Mayor Don Ness will unveil even more plans to cut the Duluth City Budget (they may include Batman enforcing the new parking meters in Canal Park), and you'll hear how some folks just can't let FinnFest leave town.

Cost is $5.
