Three trucks broke through the ice in the Chicago Bay area of the St. Croix flowage Saturday, but everyone in the vehicles managed to get out safely.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Department received a call Saturday morning from a Gordon man who said he and two men from Solon Springs were going out ice fishing when the ice broke, according to a sheriff's department report.
The man was advised they had 30 days to get the vehicles out or fines would start.
Calls to the DNR warden who handled the case were not returned as of press time.
