Suspect, clerk face charges in Spur robberySuperior police arrested two in connection with the Oct. 9 robbery at Spur, 1706 Tower Ave., including the store clerk on duty at the time of the robbery.
Nicole M. Windsor, 18, of rural Douglas County was arrested and charged with armed robbery. The clerk, 19-year-old Bryan R. McDonald of Superior was also arrested on a charge of obstructing an officer.
It was originally reported that the suspect, Windsor, entered the store brandishing a hand gun and tire iron, but the investigation revealed she had no firearm.
According to police, McDonald knew Windsor previously and knew she was not carrying a handgun at the time of the robbery.
Both made initial appearanced in Douglas County Circuit Court today.
